So I'm a 32D and not a 34B? That was a bit of an error in judgement, but I'm totally confused about how I can be that size since I'm not noticeably well endowed in that department. Ah well, the new bras fit, that's all I'm bothered about really. Maybe M&S just have some severely irish size system or something.
Yes, so I went to Wigan today to buy a party dress for my 18th on Friday. I've ended up with a Kate Moss dress, which is actually rather nice, although you could see the Topshop staff marking me down as a celeb-obsessive splurger, before convincing me of the wiseness of my purchase. Apparently they only just put the stock out a few hours before my arrival, and not many shops carry it, etc etc. Meh, if anything the tag put me off it cos I thought 'oh well it's bound to be tat' before I tried it on. Ran into team Palfrey-Campbell shortly after they bought my gift, and helped them find Myke's before going to the pub and spotting a sizeable mouse happily scurrying about. Oh, Wigan. |

What the fuck are the fucking odds of getting fucking tonsilitis THREE TIMES in one fucking MONTH???
Slim, I feel. This morning I woke to find it's back. I might cry, I've got two exams tomorrow and judging off past experience by then I'll be hungry, exhausted, and in general agony. Wahayyyyy!
Today I went to the drop in centre at Leigh Infirmary and got myself some more antibiotics. According to the nurse there, the recommended dose is 8 per day for 10 days, which surprised me somewhat since the previous two courses have lasted me just a week, and the first one was 3 a day. She's not allowed to give me more than the recommended dose since she's not a doctor, even though she wanted to, so I'm going to have to book some sort of punching my GP in the face session for this week in order to procure more. I really hope since I've caught it early this time I'll be ok by tomorrow.

It's nice having a job, it means I can pay £8 for things like mascara and blusher, so it comes in pretty wrapping and in quality terms is somewhere between mediocre and good, instead of between pisspoor and blister-inducing. I can't wait to be a bored housewife and think it's a halfway good idea to buy mascara costing £50. That will be a feeling to cherish.
In other news, UK residents are no longer allowed to subscribe to Pandora.com, due to blah blah blah copyright infringement blah blah blah. Should be able to get round that with a .com address, hopefully, so all is not lost. But still. I can't believe how intensely stupid British record companies are being! Pandora advertises their products only to the people they are specifically targeted at, and the very idea is to get people listening to music they wouldn't have heard otherwise. What's lost exactly, if I was never going to buy the album, previous to Pandora?

Oh yeah, forgot to say - New Years Eve was top notch, truly it was. Total comfort in the presence of strangers, and champagne. Proof you don't need to be sick to have fun. |
